Painting

Here's two panels for a painted story I recently finished for BlueWater Productions' upcoming Dark Universe book. It won't be out for sometime but I'm really excited that I was able to paint a story. Many of my regular readers know how I love painting and wish I could do more of it. If I could live off of writing and painting I would, and if you know how I can make that happen then hook a brotha up.

Hellboy Colors

Since I'm sort of blogging again I realized I haven't posted much artwork up. Here's an old inking sample that I recently cleaned up to show around again. I also colored it so I can shop myself around as a colorist. I really like how it came out, but coloring pinups are easy--I think. I'll post more coloring if anyone's interested. Let me know.

A Call for Reviews!

Hey everyone. I could use some more reviews over at amazon.com for my novel Stay Dead. If you've read it, please give it a review.

Stay Dead: A Novel FOR ONLY 99¢

Just wanted to let you all know that I dropped the price of Stay Dead: A Novel to 99¢ for a limited time to celebrate the fourth of July. It's already dropped on Amazon.com and smashwords.com, but will take a few days to show up on places like B&N, Apple, etc.

If you haven't picked it up, now is the time!

Monday, Monday…

Putting together a submissions packet. Kicking it old school and feel like I'm back in school. Done with my lettering for the day, and now if I can get my 'chores' done and fix some cabinets in the kitchen I might just be able to get some drawing done for a personal project that I'm just not ready to talk about yet.

Hollywood Vampires on Darkest Radio!

Here's a quick note from Matt R. Jones, fellow Indie Author and contributor to Dark: A Horror Anthology:

If you don't already listen to Darkest Radio every Sunday night, you're missing out -- not only does Darkest Jack play an eclectic mix of dark alternative / rock music (and he takes requests!), but there's a lot of humor in what he does and a tremendous amount of love...
Jack's the real deal, guys -- he's not doing this because it's the cool thing to do, but because he lives and breathes the horror and dark alternative genre. He's a very authentic, very genuine guy, and what he does is a labor of love, pure and simple. So show your support for an independent spirit and listen to Darkest Radio every Sunday night!
In case you missed last night's show, Jack will have the podcast up for download tomorrow, AND...
You can stream the show from the Darkest Radio page RIGHT NOW!
So whether you want to stream it at work today or download it to your iPod (or whatever) tomorrow, you'll be able to hear me and Jack clowning around in a vampire vein... even if you were detained by chupacabras last night!

Amazon sale

I just slashed all of my ebook prices at amazon. Trying an experiment. Will lower prices translate to more sales? Thus enabling me to climb the bestsellers ranks and gain more visibility. Or will it translate to perception of an inferior product? We shall see. I'm thinking a three week trial should gain me some insight. I'll be sure to let you all know. Thoughts? Wagers?
