As the world burns.
As my American dream disintegrates in front of my eyes, am I wrong for not caring? Am I wrong for hoping the whole thing just goes up in smoke? Am I wrong for having absolutely zero faith in humanity? I don't think so. Let it burn, let it collapse, I'm ready for a change.

Friday the 13th: Red Lake
So as most of you could guess, I'm a huge fan of Friday the 13th, I was debating on doing a review of the new one, or some sort of retrospective on the older films--but I decided against that and thought I'd share this with yall. It's part of a one-shot comic concept that I pitched to Wildstorm. They liked the pitch and everyone I've showed it to that's a fan of the Friday series has liked it but the comic that Wildstorm was putting out is on hiatus--not sure why, with the movie having come out and done so well it would have been perfect timing--unfortunately they passed on it. So, here's a cover concept (not a finished piece, more of an idea) and two finished pages from the pitch. If anyone is interested in reading the full script give me an email and I'd be happy to share it with you. Mike Fiorentino aka Gonzo did the pencils and character designs and I did everything else.

Damaged: a series of short writings Reviewed by Dread Media!
So, I put up Damaged: a series of short writings as a free download and asked a few people if they were interested in reviewing it. A number of people have downloaded it--thank you! And at least one has reviewed it, Desmond Reddick of Dread Media. (Here's a link to the site: http://www.dread-media.com/) He reviewed it in episode 78 of the Dread Media podcast. It's a short but excellent review and I encourage all of you to check out the show, the whole episode is pretty darn good, Darryll joins him for a review of Exorcist III which is a very under rated gem.
To my regular readers out there I apologize for what is turning out to be a big hiatus. I'm working my ass off on a number of projects and can't wait to share some of it with you.
To the WTAF fans who come here, fret not, what happened to the 2.20 show will be talked about--I'm still trying to calm my nerves about it and when that happens, it will be addressed.

Trailer Park of Terror. Movie review.

Trailer Park of Terror. Well, I really wanted to like this movie, I just couldn't. The beginning was pretty decent, it looked good, the make-up was awesome, most of the characters were cool and even pretty creepy. It had all the parts to make a good movie, good for this kind of movie at least, but it just didn't work out, it ended up being relatively boring. I remember the comic looking like a lot of fun but I never picked it up so I can't compare the two. I can't recommend this at all, watch at your own risk.

Watchmen Movie Viral Video
I'm assuming this is only the beginning of an onslaught of viral marketing media to promote the upcoming Watchmen movie. I for one can't wait, though right now I'm more concerned with Friday the 13th.
